Comedy worlds collide this fall when characters from BROOKLYN NINE-NINE and NEW GIRL meet each other in the Big Apple in back-to-back episodes airing Today, Oct. 11 on FOX. The one-hour crossover event begins with BROOKLYN NINE-NINE (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) and concludes with NEW GIRL (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT).

Through out the past week, BroadwayWorld has been brinigng you coverage of the 67th Annual Emmy Awards with a decidedly theatre-specific focus, and tonight will be no different. At some point during the tedious Red Carpet, I will begin live blogging everything from the Andy Samberg's hosting performance to the awards to the acceptance speeches, and everything inbetween. That being typed, I will be doing this in shorts and a t-shirt, so don't expect too much fashion commentary.

Directed by Obie Award winner Liesl Tommy and featuring Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong'o in her New York stage debut, this powerful story of survival and resilience begins previews at The Public Theater Tuesday, September 29 and was originally scheduled to run through Sunday, November 8. It will now run an additional week through Sunday, November 15 with an official press opening on Wednesday, October 14.
