The Public Theater announced complete casting today for the New York premiere of ECLIPSED, written by Danai Gurira. Directed by Obie Award winner Liesl Tommy and featuring Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong'o in her New York stage debut, this powerful story of survival and resilience begins previews at The Public Theater Tuesday, September 29 and runs through Sunday, November 8, with an official press opening on Wednesday, October 14.

Pasadena Playhouse Adds South Coast Repertory's THE WHIPPING MAN to 2014-15 Season

The Pasadena Playhouse announced that they will present Matthew Lopez's multi-award winning play THE WHIPPING MAN, which will replace the previously announced production of William Gibson's TWO FOR THE SEESAW as the fourth production of the 2014-2015 season. THE WHIPPING MAN is produced in association with South Coast Repertory, where the show will play January 4-25, 2015, and then transfer to The Pasadena Playhouse February 3 - March 1, 2015 with a press opening on February 4.

Actor, entertainer and producer Nick Cannon ('America's Got Talent,' 'Drumline') will be featured as a recurring guest on BROOKLYN NINE-NINE as Captain Holt's (Andre Braugher) nephew, Marcus. A handsome, educated and charming young man, Marcus has just moved to the city and is staying with Holt until he finds his own place. Cannon will first appear on the series in December.

The FOX hit BROOKYLN NINE-NINE premieres on it's new night this Sunday night at 8:30/7:30c. Andre Braugher stars as straight man Captain Raymond Holt opposite Andy Samberg on the show, which is beginning its sophomore season. The young show has already garnered a Golden Globe for Best Television Series – Comedy or Musical and Best Performance and Braugher received an Emmy nomination for his role on the show.
