Lifetime Greenlights Pilot for Original Movie SWORN TO SILENCE

Lifetime has green lit the two-hour original movie-backdoor pilot Sworn to Silence, starring Neve Campbell (Scream, Party of Five), it was announced today by Nancy Dubuc, President and General Manager of Lifetime Networks.

TNT began production this week on itsnew original series Perception, starring Emmy(R) and Screen Actors Guild Award(R) winner Eric McCormack (Will & Grace, Who Is Clark Rockefeller). The series about an eccentric neuroscientist who helps solve complex criminal cases also stars Rachael Leigh Cook (She's All That), Arjay Smith (The Day After Tomorrow) and Kelly Rowan (The O.C.). TNT has ordered 10 episodes of Perception, which will join the network's lineup in summer 2012.

American Conservatory Theater's (A.C.T.) highly anticipated production of Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City has been extended an additional two weeks through July 24 due to unprecedented demand. The world premiere musical amassed the largest advance sale in A.C.T.'s history prior to its first preview performance on May 18 and has continued to break sales records heading into this week's opening night gala. Producers Scott Morfee, Jean Doumanian and Tom Wirtshafter, who presented the critically acclaimed landmark production of Thornton Wilder's Our Town, will next present the New York premiere of the new comedy, Mistakes Were Made, by Craig Wright with direction by Dexter Bullard. The two-character play features Academy Award-nominee Michael Shannon as producer Felix Artifex and Mierka Girten as his assistant Esther, and reunites the creative team of the Off-Broadway smash hit Bug (Bullard, Shannon and Barrow Street). The 16- week limited engagement will begin performances Friday, November 5, 2010 at the Barrow Street Theatre. Opening night is set for Sunday evening, November 14, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.
