Deadline reports that Grace Gummer is set to appear in a multi-episode story arc on the second season of HBO's THE NEWSROOM. The actress will portray 'Hallie Shea', described as 'an embedded reporter covering the Mitt Romney campaign.'

Sad news for BWW's legions of Kristin Chenoweth fans tonight as ABC has passed on renewing GCB for a second season, as first reported by Deadline.com. The only silver lining is that perhaps now Broadway will get the in-demand star back.

The soap returned to Dallas with the premiere of 'GCB,' SUNDAY, MARCH 4 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. Beginning that same day, the ABC Music Lounge (http://abc.go.com/music-lounge/) began featuring songs from the 'GCB' premiere episode and video clips from the show. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Broadway favorite Kristin Chenoweth's new ABC show, GCB, premiered last night with a 2.2 rating. The 7.6 million viewers topped PanAm's latest 1.2 rating, which previously held the timeslot.
