Stars of both stage and screen joined the celebration when the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning Vineyard Theatre honored Tony Award-winner Linda Lavin at the Off-Broadway company's annual Gala on Monday, March 12 at the Hudson Theater (145 West 44th Street) in Manhattan. Ms. Lavin made her Vineyard Theatre debut earlier this season in the critically acclaimed production of Nicky Silver's play THE LYONS.

On February 25, 2012, A Red Orchid Theatre announced the one-night only Chicago premiere of Mike Daisey's monologue The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs (TAESJ) to be performed by AROT Ensemble Member Lance Baker on March 5, 2012. Inspired by the enthusiasm of that sold-out house, A Red Orchid Theatre will offer a second showing. On Monday, March 12, 2012 at 8PM, Lance Baker will share this monologue with Chicago for a second time.

Off-Broadway theater company Playwrights Horizons will hold its annual Spring Gala on Monday evening, June 11th at the event space 583 Park Avenue. Titled "The Highest Standard", the evening will celebrate its five Pulitzer Prize-winning productions and honor the creators of these memorable works for the theater. The production is set to run March 7-April 15 at CENTERSTAGE before moving to Westport Country Playhouse in May. Adam Rapp's Pulitzer Prize nominated Red Light Winter lays bare the passions of three young people caught in a love triangle so dangerous and obsessive that it pushes them to the brink. Red Light Winter previews at the Kitchen Theatre Company on February 22, 23, and 24 and opens on Saturday, February 25. It runs for three weeks, closing March 11, 2012.
