This is accomplished through the NJACT Perry Awards, New Jersey's premiere community theater awards program. Originally founded as the AVY Awards over 35 years ago by William Perry Morgan, the organization has transformed itself several times, but has always kept its focus on celebrating creativity, craftsmanship and community in local theater.

Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra Announces 2013-14 Season


The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra announces the highly anticipated inaugural season of Louis Langrée, the Orchestra's 13th Music Director. Mr. Langrée will take up the baton at historic Music Hall for six of 20 thrilling subscription concert weekends for the 118 year-old Orchestra. The season lineup honors the CSO's rich traditions of presenting classic orchestral repertoire and exploring new musical territory. Emmy, Golden Globe and two time Academy Award winner Michael Douglas will be celebrated at the Film Society's 37th Annual Chaplin Award Gala on the evening of Monday May 24th at Alice Tully Hall. Yale School Of Drama Renames The New Theater To Frederick Iseman Theater


Yale School of Drama has announced that the New Theater, a 200-seat state-of-the art performance venue located at 1156 Chapel Street, was renamed the Frederick Iseman Theater in a dedication ceremony on May 30.
