Dani Montalvo and Luke Humphrey Star in I WAS LORETTA BOBBITT
Lifetime has cast Dani Montalvo (Dispatches from Elsewhere) and Luke Humphrey (Tiny Pretty Things) as the controversial couple, Lorena and John Bobbitt, for the Lifetime feature I Was Lorena Bobbitt. Currently in production in Toronto, the film will debut this summer as part of the network's Ripped from the Headlines slate. Following the premiere of the movie, Lifetime will run a PSA for the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence featuring the actors and Lorena Bobbitt, as part of Lifetime's public affairs campaign, Stop Violence Against Women.

Joan Vorderbruggen, a nationally recognized expert on placemaking and public art who leads such projects for Hennepin Theatre Trust, has been selected to participate in the Policy Fellows program at the University of Minnesota's Humphrey School of Public Affairs. Her participation in the highly-regarded leadership program will support Vorderbruggen's work in an arena that blends public art with public affairs and policymaking. Vorderbruggen will begin the program on Friday, Sept. 14.
