SYFY today announced a Season 5 pickup of the critically acclaimed UCP drama, THE MAGICIANS, just one day before the series' 13-episode fourth season premiere. Based on the bestselling novels by Lev Grossman, THE MAGICIANS centers on a group of 20-something friends from Brakebills University as they discover their magical abilities and ward off evil creatures who threaten to destroy the magical world they've come to know. Season 4 premieres on SYFY tomorrow, Wednesday, January 23 at 9/8c.

Deadline has confirmed that the network will slot Scandal reruns in LUCKY's Tuesday timeslot - with no plans to air the already produced episodes.
