Do40 Celebrates The 50th Anniversary of JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT

This Fall DO40 is saluting and celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and the 100th birthday of DO40 Advisory Board member Marge Champion.

This Fall DO40 is saluting and celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and the 100th birthday of DO40 Advisory Board member Marge Champion. Special guests and performances from the Joseph cast include Bill Hutton (Joseph), Gordon Stanley (Jacob), Conductor David Friedman, along with Stephen McNaughton, Stephen Hope, Lorraine Barrett, Philip Carruba, Jonni Masella, Dorothy Dybisz, Katharine Buffaloe-Harris, Barry Tarallo, Michael Deane and Karen Bogan. There will be representation from the BAM production as well as Broadway. And, musical accompaniment by the always great Steven Webber.
A TUNA CHRISTMAS Comes to J City Theater

For the first time in 5 years, J CITY Theater will open "A TUNA CHRISTMAS" by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears, and Ed Howard. Opening night is November 29th and the show runs Thursdays thru Saturdays at 8pm with Sunday Matinees at 3pm. This is a limited run and audiences are encouraged to reserve tickets due to limited seating. The show is scheduled to close on December 9th.
J City Theater Returns After 4-Year Hiatus With CLARK GABLE SLEPT HERE

On May 4th, 2018, after a 4-year hiatus, J CITY Theater relaunches their theater company with a new jet-black comedy: CLARK GABLE SLEPT HERE, by Michael McKeever at their new location - The Barrow Mansion, 83 Wayne Street. Performances begin at 8pm. Audiences are encouraged to reserve tickets due to limited seating and a limited run. The show is scheduled to close on May 19th.

FST's WRITE A PLAY Touches Lives in Kiryat Yam Israel

Deep in the heart of Israel, a city perched on the Mediterranean receives immigrants of all kinds, from Africa to Eurasia. The diversity within the city is immense but assimilating immigrant refugees into the greater culture of Israel presents many challenges. Recently the Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee and FST joined forces to bring a very special program to the children of Kiryat Yam. 'We are all in this together, for the children' was the running theme of the WRITE A PLAY trip to Kiryat Yam, Israel last month.
FST Extends LET'S TWIST AGAIN Through 2/2

Florida Studio Theatre has once again extended the run of the hit show Let's Twist Again: with the Wanderers, into its sixteenth week. This is the longest running Cabaret show in FST history. The ‘50s & ‘60s style musical revue that has kept the Goldstein Cabaret hopping since it opened on October 19.
