Interview with Alaudin Ullah who has brought his one-man show DISHWASHER DREAMS about his family and his life growing up as a first-generation American to the Old Globe through October 15th.

DISHWASHER DREAMS at the Old Globe offers a first-generation glimpse at a family raising children and working on assimilating their culture and transitions once in America.  Written and performed by Alaudin Ullah, this show is a specific tribute to this family that also resonates with people of all backgrounds. DISHWASHER DREAMS is playing through October 15th at the Old Globe. 

The Lincoln Theatre hosts its second summer season of Wine Down Wednesdays, featuring hot jazz and cool cocktails on the rooftop patio, starting May 31. Intiman Theatre announce the cast for their upcoming production of BULRUSHER, presented in partnership with The Hansberry Project, and directed by Seattle favorite Valerie Curtis-Newton. The cast will star Ayo Tushinde as Bulrusher, along with Allyson Brown, Adam Fontana, Reggie Jackson, Charles Leggett and Christine Salvador. This lyrical and passionate coming of age story will play at The Jones Playhouse at the University of Washington, from August 20 - September 14, 2019.

Every year, since 2009, The Ten Chimneys Foundation, which facilitates the Lunt-Fontanne Fellowship Program, brings together just ten of the nation's top regional theatre actors to work with a world-renowned Master Teacher. This year, PCPA's Kitty Balay was selected to join leading actors and acting teachers who were chosen from an exclusive list of only ten national theatres. The actors will participate in a week of master classes headed by distinguished actress Tyne Daly from July 14 - 20, 2019. The intensive master class will take place at the estate of theatre legends Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne in Genesee Depot, Wisconsin. This is a life-altering opportunity for the selected theatre actors to expand their creative and mentoring abilities.

During the week of July 14th-20th, Ms. Tyne Daly and more will lead actors in in intensive Master Classes.

After two readings in 2013 and 2014 sponsored by Roundabout Theatre Company, Brian Spector (Come From Away, The Woodsman, Transport) of Keaka Productions was brought on board as Executive Producer. With Until the Flood brings the return of the much praised and sought after community engagement program - Act II.
