Judith Lynn Stillman's Women Trailblazers in Music takes us on a journey with tunes and tales by - and about - pioneering women composers who were all but expunged from history. The film, premiering at Rhode Island College and commissioned by Artists & Activists Productions and FirstWorks, features stories rarely heard and music not often played.

The show will run each Monday night in February, with performances continuing February 10, 17 and 24, 2014 at 7:30pm at the Red Lacquer Club, home of Lucky Cheng's - 240 West 52nd Street. The full cast of tiara-crazed beauties includes Nick Cearley ('The Skivvies'), Frankie James Grande (Mamma Mia), Douglas Lyons(Beautiful), Alex Ringler (West Side Story), Marty Thomas (Xanadu), Seth Tucker (Our Kiki) and features Tony nominee Brad Oscar (The Producers; Big Fish) as the host. Last night, June 14, The Town Hall celebrated the Broadway By The Year® 10th Anniversary Celebration - Broadway By The Year 1990-2010, Created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for the Town Hall, the Broadway performers included Norm Lewis (The Little Mermaid, Sondheim on Sondheim), Karen Mason (Mama Mia!), Astaire Award-winner Spencer Liff (Cry- Baby), Michael Winther (Mama Mia!), Douglas Ladnier (Jekyll & Hyde), Ann Harada (Avenue Q), four-time Tony® Award nominee Gregg Edelmann (Tale of Two Cities), Alexander Gemignani (Les Miserables), Tony® Award winner Debbie Gravitte, Kendrick Jones (The Scottsboro Boys), three-time Tony® Award nominee Mark Kudisch (9 to 5), Tony® Award nominee Bobby Steggert (Ragtime), Julia Murney (Wicked), Max Von Essen (Xanadu national tour), Tony ® Award nominee Barbara Wash (Company) and Lari White (Ring of Fire). Broadway by the Year 1990-2010 was directed by Nightlife Award winner Scott Coulter, who also performed in the show.
