Meghann Fahy

Fahy began her theater career in 2008 when she was cast as the standby for Jennifer Damiano as Natalie Goodman in Arena Stage's production of Next to Normal. She continued with the production when it transferred to Broadway's Booth Theatre in 2009. On July 19, 2010, Fahy took over the role of Natalie Goodman, performing opposite Marin Mazzie as Diana and Jason Danieley as Dan. She remained with the Broadway production until it closed on Jan. 16, 2011.

In 2009, Fahy recorded demos for composers Bree Lowdermilk and Kait Kerrigan's The Unauthorized Autobiography of Samantha Brown. In January 2012, she appeared as Bella in a one-night concert reading of Twilight: The Musical at New World Stages. In May 2011, she briefly reprised her role as Natalie Goodman during the first national tour of Next to Normal in St. Paul, Minnesota. That August, she starred as the title character in The Unauthorized Autobiography of Samantha Brown at Goodspeed Opera House, with performances running from Aug. 4 through Aug. 28, 2011.

In January 2015, Fahy performed as Riley Williams in We Are the Tigers at Feinstein's/54 Below. Later that year, she starred as Penny Lefebvre in the off-Broadway production of Lost Girls at MCC Theater. In winter 2017, she appeared off-Broadway in Penelope Skinner's play Linda, portraying a rock singer. The theater credits listed for Fahy also include Stevie in Linda at New York City Center Stage I in 2017.

Fahy made her television debut in 2009 with a guest appearance as Devyn in an episode of Gossip Girl titled "The Lost Boy." In 2010, she began playing Hannah O'Connor, a recurring character on ABC's One Life to Live, appearing through 2012.

In 2011, Fahy appeared in the Hallmark Hall of Fame television film The Lost Valentine as young Caroline Robinson Thomas. She also played Shelby Hale in an episode of The Good Wife titled "Affairs of State." In 2012, she appeared as Olivia DiFlorio in four episodes of Necessary Roughness and as Georgia Gibbons in the miniseries Political Animals, which ran for four episodes. That year, she also played Nicki Rutkowski in three episodes of Chicago Fire.

Fahy's subsequent television credits include Joy in the 2013 episode "What's Your Secret?" of It Could Be Worse and Jenny Aschler in the 2014 episode "Downloaded Child" of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. In 2015, she appeared as Maria in an episode of The Jim Gaffigan Show and as Lacey Chambers in an episode of Blue Bloods titled "Worst Case Scenario."

In 2015, Fahy appeared in the films Those People as London and Burning Bodhi as Lauren. Her 2016 film credits include Miss Sloane, in which she played Clara Thomson, and Our Time, in which she played Jen. She also appeared as Alicia Davis in the 2018 episode "The Unseen Hand" of Deception and starred as Carly in the 2019 Hallmark television film Just Add Romance.

In 2016, Fahy was cast as Sutton Brady in the Freeform drama series The Bold Type, which premiered on June 20, 2017. She played the role throughout the series' run from 2017 to 2021. The series followed the lives and careers of three women working at a women's magazine.

In November 2020, Fahy was cast in a co-starring role in the drama film The Unbreakable Boy, released in 2025, playing Teresa LeRette. Her other film credits include Jackie Dennon in Your Monster (2024), Ruby Rose in Rebuilding (2025) and Violet Gates in the 2025 thriller Drop, in which she starred as the lead.

In February 2022, Fahy was cast as Daphne Sullivan in the second season of HBO's anthology drama series The White Lotus. Her performance earned her and her castmates a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series in February 2023. She also received a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards for her work on the series.

Fahy starred as Merritt Monaco in the 2024 Netflix miniseries The Perfect Couple, appearing in all six episodes. In 2025, she played Devon DeWitt in the Netflix miniseries Sirens, appearing in five episodes.

Fahy's upcoming projects include the thriller film You Deserve Each Other, in which she will play Naomi Westfield, and Banquet, in which she will play Jenny Cochrane. Both films were listed as being in post-production. Banquet, directed by Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia and produced by David Yates, was announced in November 2025. Fahy is also set to play Charlotte Quinn in the television series The Good Daughter.
