Matt Alfred Richter

Matt is a Los Angeles based Lighting and Sound designer. He received his BA in Theatre from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Recent productions include: Last Night In The Garden I Saw You by John Patrick Shanley (World Premiere), Lenny's Back & Boy is He Pissed (Theatre 68); Neighborhood 3 (Garland Award Nominee), Watson (Stage Scene LA Award), The Forbidden Zone (World Premiere), Endgame (Sacred Fools); Shoe Story (Ovation Nomination), Skeleton Stories (Ovation Nomination), Kill Me Deadly (Ticketholder Award Nominee)(Theatre of NOTE); Asleep on a Bicycle (Ticketholder Award Nominee), Idea Man, Love Sick (World Premiere), Little Flower of East Orange (West Coast Premiere- Stage Scene LA Award) (The Elephant Theatre Company). He was honored to design the world premiere of The Devil Has a Sister for Theatre Revelation at the Melkweg Theatre in Amsterdam. He also serves as half of the experimental ambient folk duo Lanfair Field.
