STARC Productions to Stage CONSTELLATIONS
STARC Productions returns to the Bakehouse Theatre this March with award-winning playwright Nick Payne's captivating, playful and touching two-hander, CONSTELLATIONS. Premiering at London's Royal Court Theatre in 2012, CONSTELLATIONS is a much celebrated romantic dramedy about life, love and death that is as clever as it is sweet-hearted. The play follows Roland, a beekeeper, and Marianne, a physicist, through their romantic relationship as they navigate the very human challenges that face us all, not least of which include the nature of time and ultimately, our mortality.
Abbey Theatre Premieres New Play PURPLE SNOWFLAKES AND TITTY WANKS
The Abbey Theatre has announced the world premiere of Purple Snowflakes and Titty Wanks, a co-production with London's Royal Court Theatre. Written and performed by Sarah Hanly and directed by Alice Fitzgerald, the play is a part of this year's Dublin Theatre Festival.

The four-performance run, opening Thursday, October 10 and closing Sunday, October 13 is directed by Adrienne Matzen. This marks the Chicago premiere of this play that was first seen at London's Royal Court Theatre in 2008.

Samuel French has announced the upcoming closure of its bookstore on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, CA for March 31, 2019. Its extensive collection of iconic acting edition play scripts and musical libretti will continue to be available online through the Samuel French website. Samuel French's bookshop in London's Royal Court Theatre will remain open and celebrates its first anniversary in March.

Shakespeare Theatre Co Names Simon Godwin Artistic Director
The Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC) today announces the appointment of Simon Godwin as its next Artistic Director. Godwin, currently the Associate Director at the National Theatre of Great Britain (NT), previously served as Associate Director of London's Royal Court Theatre and Associate Director at the Bristol Old Vic in the United Kingdom. He will succeed Michael Kahn, who has been at the helm of STC since 1986.

WAM Theatre is very proud to be able to include this iconic feminist playwrights work in our Fresh Takes Play Reading Series. The trio, who will portray the novel's classic characters Winston Smith, Julia and O'Brien, respectively, will be joined by Wayne Duvall (Parsons), Carl Hendrick Louis (Martin), Nick Mills (Syme), Michael Potts (Charrington), and Cara Seymour (Mrs. Parsons).
