Cleveland Play House (CPH) is proud to announce the cast of the high-spirited, interactive musical comedy The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Broadway and TV actress Ali Stroker (Glee, Deaf West's Production of Spring Awakening) joins Broadway veterans Kirsten Wyatt (Annie, Elf, Shrek), John Scherer (Sunset Boulevard, By Jeeves, Funny Girl), Lee Slobotkin, Chad Burris (both of Book of Mormon), Kay Trinidad Karns (Little Mermaid), and more in this laugh-out-loud musical directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge on the Allen Stage through May 6th. This production is sponsored by Huntington National Bank and Zinner & Co.

Broadway Method Academy (BMA), a non-profit musical theater-training program, will hold its third annual benefit gala, Broadway Sings, on Monday, November 27 at the prestigious Westport Country Playhouse.

Broadway's Future Songbook Series - presented by Arts and Artists of Tomorrow begins its twenty-seventh season tonight, Monday, October 30th, in the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center located at 111 Amsterdam Avenue and 65th Street. Showtime is at 6PM and ADMISSION IS FREE.

Broadway Dreams and The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts will ring in 2017 with a free performance at 4:15 pm on Sunday, January 1, 2017 on the Commonwealth Plaza Level of the Kimmel Center.

Broadway Method Academy is hosting the second annual benefit concert 'Broadway Sings". Broadway Method Academy's Executive Director, Connor Deane says the evening will be filled with top-notch talent from both BMA and New York, including some of Broadway's top performers.  Deane says, "The fundraiser's support will be dedicated to empowering students and igniting possibilities through scholarship opportunities and so much more. On Monday, September 26, 2016, The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization who for the past 12 years has been dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2016 recipients at its annual awards ceremony, The IT Awards. Hosted by a crowd favorite, Jason Kravits and directed by award winning director and sound designer, DeLisa White the ceremony took place from 7pm to 10pm at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College.

On Monday, August 8, 2016, The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization who for the past 12 years has been dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2016 nominees at its annual event, The IT Party, celebrating 12 years and thousands of nominees at 42West.
