The Royal Court Theatre, in collaboration with Access All Areas, has announced the initial casting for Imposter 22 by Molly Davies (God Bless the Child, A Miracle). The production has been created from an original idea by neurodivergent Royal Court Associate Director Hamish Pirie, and is a co-creation with seven learning disabled and autistic artists who also perform in the piece.
Featuring a stellar lineup of local North Carolina artists, many of whom are foundational to the label’s beginnings, the Cat’s Cradle main room will include performances by: Dawn Landes; The Old Ceremony; Jennyanykind; Mayflies USA; Chris Stamey; and Caitlin Cary, who will headline the show with her first live performance since 2005.
Produced, engineered, mixed, and recorded by Phillips at his Nashville home, he is joined on the album by drummer Jay Bellerose (Robert Plant, Alison Krauss) and bassist Jennifer Condos (Ray LaMontagne, Bruce Springsteen) with additional parts on selected songs by Jamie Edwards (keyboards), Eric Heywood (pedal steel) and Richard Dodd (cello).
