The 2024 Suwannee Spring Reunion features music on multiple stages and includes Sam Bush, Railroad Earth, Steep Canyon Rangers, Peter Rowan Walls of Time Band, Donna the Buffalo, Keller Williams' PettyGrass ft. The HillBenders, Bettye LaVette, The Steel Wheels, Town Mountain, Seth Walker, Jon Stickley Trio, Fireside Collective, and more.

The Shootouts will make their debut performance on the Grand Ole Opry. The rite of passage showcase comes on the same date as the release of their third full-length album. Stampede is produced by Ray Benson and is packed with appearances from Raúl Malo, Marty Stuart, Jim Lauderdale, Buddy Miller, Benson & members of Asleep at the Wheel.

MerleFest, presented by Window World, has just added another huge list of performers to its already stacked 2023 lineup—which featured headliners like The Avett Brothers and Maren Morris.

Stampede came as a surprise to the band. Only months after the April 2021 release of their Top 10 Americana Radio album Bullseye, The Shootouts received word that the legendary Ray Benson wanted to produce their next album and they quickly headed back into the studio. Featuring a stellar lineup of local North Carolina artists, many of whom are foundational to the label’s beginnings, the Cat’s Cradle main room will include performances by: Dawn Landes; The Old Ceremony; Jennyanykind; Mayflies USA; Chris Stamey; and Caitlin Cary, who will headline the show with her first live performance since 2005.

Weston Theater Company announces the artists for their summer concert series at Walker Farm in Weston.

Bassist Bob Glaub (Jackson Browne/Linda Ronstadt/Bonnie Raitt), guitarist and back-up vocalist Brian Whelan (Jim Lauderdale/Chris Shiftlett/Dwight Yoakam), keyboardist John Ginty (The Dixie Chicks/The Allman Betts Band/Citizen Cope), and pedal steel guitarist Doug Pettibone (John Mayer/Tracy Chapman/Norah Jones) also appear on the track.

Angus Gill has released The Scrapbook, an 11-song treasure trove of heartfelt bluegrass recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic. The album, out via Rivershack Records/MGM, features Gill backed by a stellar lineup of Grammy-winning musicians and affords him the chance to show a different side to his well-honed songwriting and musicianship.

Fox Concerts has announced country music singer and songwriter CODY JINKS will play at the Fabulous Fox Theatre Saturday, November 13 at 7:00 p.m. with very special guest Randy Rogers Band.

The legendary Hollywood Palomino Club will be resurrected during Americanafest week at The Basement East on the evening of September 21st. As in the tradition of the Palomino, there will be an updated version of the 'World Famous Palomino Talent Show.”

Jim Lauderdale, Hogslop String Band, Brittney Spencer, The Cleverlys, Donna the Buffalo, Peter Rowan, Los Texmaniacs, and Cordovas are slated to join Shinyribs for this momentous event.

Max Gomez has also announced new tour dates for 2021, including performances at The Red River Folk Festival in September, an annual 4-day event held in the resort mountain town of Red River, New Mexico which Gomez curates.

After nearly 15 months off the road, Lauderdale will tour in support of the album, starting with an eight-date tour run that includes a July 30 album release show at 3rd & Lindsley in Nashville and an appearance at Merlefest in September.
