Since Wynton Marsalis played the first note at the Grand Opening on September 30, 2012, The Nash has become the epicenter for the greatest jazz moments in the Valley of the Sun. Virtually every top jazz artist has journeyed to Phoenix, from legends to rising stars, in order to perform at the downtown club named in honor of drummer Lewis Nash.

WCT Presents Mala Waldron In The JAZZ IN THE BOD Series
On Saturday, February 22, the Mala Waldron Quartet, a group of internationally acclaimed jazz virtuosos headed by jazz vocalist/pianist/composer Waldron accompanied by her top-flight backup group, will make a rare local appearance in Westchester Collaborative Theater (WCT)'s Jazz in the Box Series. Waldron, will perform a sophisticated blend of soulful jazz together with Steve Salerno on guitar, Michael T.A. Thompson on drums, and Jennifer Vincent on bass at WCT's black box performance space, 23 Water St. in Ossining.

BWW Review: RUTHLESS is Top Notch Entertainment
'Ruthless!' at PASA is one of the best-directed and best-performed musicals I have seen in San Antonio. While the show cannot compete with the lavish production values of the Woodlawn and the Playhouse, it more than makes up for it in the inventiveness of Vaughn Taylor's direction and the quality of the performers.

The Morris Museum continues its popular Jazz Showcase concert series with two performances in August 2015. On Monday, August 17, the Museum will welcome world-renowned double bassist and jazz vocalist Nicki Parrott. In addition, on Monday, August 24, pianist Mark Shane will return to the Bickford Theatre for a night of swinging numbers.
