More than 400 guests joined Olympians and stars of stage and screen to show their support for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) students at the annual Point Honors gala the landmark New York Public Library last night. The evening celebrated the accomplishments of Point Foundation's (Point), higher education scholarship recipients. More than $500,000 was raised for Point, the nation's largest scholarship-granting organization for LGBTQ students of merit.

On Tuesday, November 11th, Macy's and Marc Ecko presented the 2008 Emery Awards at Cipriani 42nd St. This year's awards honored those who have worked to support LGBT youth, and featured a special performance by Cheyenne Jackson, star of Broadway's XANADU, ALL SHOOK UP and AIDA.
The 22ND ANNUAL BROADWAY FLEA MARKET & GRAND AUCTION was held this Sunday, September 21 from 10 AM - 7 PM in Shubert Alley (225 West 45th Street). Celebrities of theater and daytime television came out to show their support. As in previous years, Broadway and daytime fans had the opportunity to get their photo taken with various celebrities at the Celebrity Photo Booths.

The York Theatre Company presents The Baker's Wife as the fourth and final show in the Fall 2007 Musicals in Mufti Series - the York's acclaimed series of musical theatre gems in staged concert performances. This Series celebrates the work of playwright Joseph Stein. Remaining performances are Saturday October 27 at 8PM and Sunday, October 28 at 2:30PM & 7:30PM at the Theatre at Saint Peters.
