In the sonic crucible of Ben Frost's Scope Neglect, music undergoes a metamorphic alchemy. From the album's opening track, the familiar aural chemistry of metal is immediately untethered, isolated in the vacuum, stripped of its cultural trappings and heavy armory, and then loaded into a particle accelerator.

“Turning the Prism” marks a long-awaited shift from Ben's recent collaborative ventures. In the past year, Frost co-created two projects fueled by profound ecological inspirations – the first, with acclaimed sound artist, composer, and musician Francesco Fabris, Vakning (2023, Room40), and the second with his long-time creative partners.

Irish Repertory Theatre (Charlotte Moore, Artistic Director and Ciarán O'Reilly, Producing Director) is proud to announce a one-week extension of the World Premiere of Kingfishers Catch Fire, by Robin Glendinning (Jennifer's Holiday), directed by Kent Paul (Lost in Yonkers). Kingfishers Catch Fire began performances in the W. Scott McLucas Studio Theatre on September 11, 2019, and opened September 22. Originally scheduled for a limited run through October 20, the production will now run through October 27, 2019.

Melissa Li's and Kit Yan's new musical Interstate, has been extended due to popular demand. Interstate, which opens the 2018 New York Musical Festival tonight at Theatre Row, will play to a sold-out house. An additional performance, has been added on Sunday, July 15 at 5:00 pm.

The workshop production will open the festival and features a diverse mix of talent while showcasing the journey of two Asian transgender artists. Interstate is directed by Jessi D. Hill, choreographed by Jessica Chen, with music direction by Karen Dryer.
