The new Broadway production of Shakespeare's timeless love story Romeo and Juliet starring international film star Orlando Bloom, making his Broadway debut opposite two-time Tony Award nominee Condola Rashad, officially opened last week at the Richard RodgersTheatre. FREEZE FRAME: VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE's Sigourney Weaver, David Hyde Pierce and More Meet the Press
The Broadway Premiere of Christopher Durang's Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, which comes on the heels of its sold-out run at Lincoln Center, will play a 17-week strictly limited Broadway engagement, set to begin performances on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Broadway's Golden Theatre. Directed by Nicholas Martin, the Broadway production will feature the entire original company, which includes Sigourney Weaver, David Hyde Pierce, Kristine Nielsen, Genevieve Angelson, Shalita Grant, and Billy Magnussen.
