Starz, a Lionsgate company (NYSE: LGF.A, LGF.B), today announced it has given an eight-episode series order for 'Run the World.' The half-hour comedy is created and written by Leigh Davenport (The Perfect Find, untitled Wendy Williams biopic) who will executive produce with showrunner Yvette Lee Bowser (Lionsgate's 'Dear White People,' 'Living Single') and Lionsgate Television, where Bowser's SisterLee Productions is under an overall deal. Millicent Shelton ('black-ish,' 'P-Valley') directed the pilot.

Tonight, FOX will air their third live musical production. Following in the footsteps of Grease and A Christmas Story, the network will be presenting Jonathan Larson's Rent, a rock musical that is loosely based on Giacomo Puccini's 1896 opera, La boheme. The story follows a group of impoverished young artists struggling to survive and create a life in New York City's East Village in the thriving days of Bohemian Alphabet City, under the shadow of HIV/AIDS.

Founding Directors, Shawn Ryan and John Ainsworth, have announced the all-star summer line up for The Young Actors' Theatre Camp 17th SEASON, which will include TV, Broadway, and Film's most inspirational Actors, Dancers, Singers, Choreographers, Producers, and Directors!
