In its 21st year, ABC Entertainment Talent and Casting is excited to present emerging talent from coast to coast with 2022’s Disney Television Discovers: Talent Showcase. As a part of their continued commitment to creating opportunities for rising artists to be discovered, nurtured and celebrated.

Disney Television Discovers: Talent Showcase has served as a launching pad for new artists, previous members include Lupita Nyong'o, Chadwick Boseman, Ali Stroker, Ginda Rodriguez, Carrie Ann Inaba, Jesse Williams, Alexandra Shipp, Meghan Markle, and more.

Platt will join Chrissie Fit, Will Peltz, Zach Reino, Halston Sage, Christian Navarro, and Greg Sulkin in the new film. The film follows Abby (Sage) whose world is turned upside down after her fiancé (Platt) sleeps with someone on his celebrity 'free pass' list.

Season 2 also features Gabo Augustine, Michelle Buteau, Jennifer Esposito, Chrissie Fit, Jonathan 'Dumbfoundead' Park, Jaboukie Young White, Wai Ching Ho, and Liang Ying He reprising their roles from the first season.

The recurring guest voice cast includes Tony Hale (Disney+'s upcoming 'The Mysterious Benedict Society') as Frazz, a nervous squirrel; Jane Lynch ('Glee') as Dr. Dirt, a forensic scientist snail; Melissa Rauch ('The Big Bang Theory') as Dinah, the chicks' mother; Sean Giambrone ('The Goldbergs') as Riley, a gruff pack rat.

For the first time in its 19-year history, ABC Talent and Casting will present its annual ABC Discovers: Talent Showcases virtually, as part of the company’s legacy and commitment to create powerful opportunities to discover, nurture, and recognize talent.

Laura Bell Bundy has announced the Women Of Tomorrow Benefit for the Domestic Violence Response Fund in Conjunction with Futures Without Violence taking place virtually on Thursday, October 29th at 8pm ET/5pm PT.

ABC Talent and Casting will present the 2019 ABC Discovers: Los Angeles Talent Showcase on WEDNESDAY, OCT. 16, at the El Portal Theatre for the Performing Arts in North Hollywood, California. Part of Walt Disney Television's ongoing commitment to creating opportunities for undiscovered talent, the showcase features selected participants performing in a one-night showcase for casting directors, talent agents, managers and other industry professionals. In addition, the selected showcase actors are awarded a one-year mentorship with executives from the ABC Casting Department. As part of the mentorship, the showcase actors will be offered on-camera workshops specifically for them to further hone their craft and auditioning skills. Talent will also have access to various ABC executives.

Following its Tony-nominated hit Broadway run seen by tens of thousands, Tony Award winner John Leguizamo's one-man play “Latin History for Morons” will be presented by Center Theatre Group at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles from September 5 through October 20, 2019. Today YouTube Originals premiered the trailer for the highly anticipated second season of their original series LIZA ON DEMAND.  Following more than 38 million views of the season one pilot, LIZA ON DEMAND will return with an all new season on September 25, 2019.  Fans can get excited for the second season by binge watching the first season, which will be made available for free starting today only on YouTube. For season two, episodes will be available for free and release weekly every Wednesday. All episodes will be available to binge on launch day for YouTube Premium subscribers.
