Cheryl Mintz celebrated 30 seasons at McCarter Theatre Center, 25 as McCarter Theatre’s Resident Production Stage Manager, has Production Stage Managed 106 productions and 100+ workshops, 698 performances of A Christmas Carol and has collaborated with America’s finest directors, playwrights, designers and actors. 2022 marked Cheryl’s 37th production with Artistic Director and Resident Playwright Emeritus, Emily Mann. Cheryl’s world premiere productions include Christopher Durang’s Tony winning Best Play Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike and Turning Off the Morning News, Marina Carr’s Phaedra Backwards, John Guare’s Are You There, McPhee?, Edward Albee’s Me, Myself & I, Stephen Wadsworth’s The Figaro Plays, and Ken Ludwig’s Murder on the Orient Express. Past highlight’s include Production Stage Manager for the McCarter and Broadway run of Nilo Cruz's, Anna in the Tropics, the McCarter and Kennedy Center world premiere run of Emily Mann’s, Mrs. Packard, the world premiere of The Brother/Sister Plays by Tarell Alvin McCraney and the American premiere of the musical Take Flight by John Weidman, music and lyrics by David Shire and Richard Maltby, Jr.

Jo Bonney, Walter Dallas, Daniel Fish, Kent Gash, Shirley Jo Finney, Noah Brody, Ben Steinfeld, Scott Zigler, Susan Schulman, Julianne Boyd, Scott Ellis, Michael Unger, Loretta Greco, Adam Immerwahr, Julio Monge, Simon Gray, C Ryanne Domingues, David Lynch, David Bell, David Gordon, John Driver, Susan Stroman, Mike Ockrent, and Jerome Robbins.

Cheryl is currently the Production Stage Manager for American Repertory Ballet under the Artistic Direction of Ethan Stiefel. With over 60 Operas and a dozen major dance and music events to her credit, Cheryl has enjoyed thirteen collaborations with Maestro Gian Carlo Menotti and the Spoleto Festivals in USA and Italy most notably as the Direzione di scena Teatro Caio Melisso and the Direttore di scena and Associate Director for Maestro Menotti’s final productions of Amahl & the Night Visitors, The Singing Child, Maria Golovin, The Telephone and The Medium. Cheryl spent five seasons at Lincoln Center with the New York City Opera where she has Stage Managed 40 operas and musicals, three tours and three PBS telecasts. Other companies include: Opera New Jersey, Opera Festival of New Jersey, Baltimore Opera Company, National Grand Opera, NJPAC, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Intar, Williamstown Theatre Festival, The Kitchen, New York Theatre Workshop, George Street Playhouse, Passage Theatre, Lewis Center for the Arts, and Yale Repertory Theatre.

Adjunct Professor at New York University/Tisch School of the Arts and Montclair State University. Guest Lecturer in Theatre for: Yale School of Drama, The Juilliard School, American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Rutgers University - Mason Gross School of the Arts, Pace University, Muhlenberg College, University of Iowa, NYU, Syracuse University, Rider University, Carnegie Mellon, Webster University, Lindenwood University, SUNY Stony Brook, Princeton Day School, is a USITT Portfolio Reviewer, Yale School of Drama Thesis Advisor, and has mentored hundreds of young theater professionals. Cheryl has written for the Yale School of Drama Alumni Magazine, The New York Times, and is a contributor to the 4th edition of Sound and Music for the Theatre: The Art & Technique of Design. Publications: Acting Editions of Athol Fugard’s The Road to Mecca and A Place with the Pigs.

Cheryl has six Broadway shows to her credit, received her MFA from the Yale School of Drama, Management Development Certificate from Princeton University, BA from SUNY Stony Brook, and named a SUNY Notable Alumni in the Arts. For the Stage Managers’ Association Cheryl has been an Executive Board Member for 18 years, returning as a current Director-at-Large, the current Del Hughes Award and Event Chairperson, and a Financial Oversight Committee member. Cheryl is a recipient of the New Jersey Theatre Alliance’s Applause Award. Cheryl salutes Year of the Stage Manager 2020/21, Actors' Equity Association's Centennial, and is proud to be featured as part of The Narrative Project and Performance of the Century, 100 Years of Actors' Equity Association and the Rise of Professional American Theater.

Cheryl is a founder and partner of princetonVIRTUAL, which through creative virtual and live events brings your community together. With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting suspension of production activity at theaters around the country, Cheryl pivoted to independent virtual theatrical projects which span Broadway, Off-Broadway and regional companies. Recent projects during the theatrical pause include Emily Mann: A Celebration of 30 Years, Theater J’s 2020 Benefit,
Edlavitch DCJCC Spring Gala 2021 featuring AvevA, Stage Managers’ Association Del Hughes Award Event, 20 non-profit events, A Virtual Christmas Carol for NewArts, Babel for Passage Theatre, along with The Night of the Iguana for La Femme Theatre Productions, and The Pianist Broadway developmental workshops, both directed by Emily Mann.

Cheryl is a recipient of the Award of Excellence at the 2020 New Jersey Theatre Alliance Curtain Call.
