Carla Renata Williams

A graduate of Howard University, Carla Renata has appeared on Broadway in HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING, THE LIFE, SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE and AVENUE Q. Nominated for her role as Shenzi in Original Los Angeles Production of The Lion King, she also starred as Killer Queen in QUEEN's hit musical WE WILL ROCK YOU at the Paris Las Vegas.

Carla made history TWICE by being the 1st African-American actress to recur on four sitcoms in one season TWICE. She has been a recurring Guest Star on NBC's #1 sitcom SUPERSTORE as Janet for the past five seasons.

Also, an Emmy nominated voice-over actress, her voice can be heard on numerous campaigns for ABC NEWS, No Kid Hungry, Ronald McDonald House and many more.
