Broadway's Future Songbook Series to Highlight Work by Lauren Taslitz and Danny Ursetti
The Broadway's Future Songbook Series - produced and hosted by John Znidarsic - continues its 2022 season on Monday, April 25th at 6PM. The free evening will spotlight the songs of the acclaimed writing team of Lauren Taslitz and Danny Ursetti - highlighting their new musical, Mimosa. This special concert will be held in the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center - 111 Amsterdam Avenue.
Theatre Now to Present SOUND BITES Streaming Live

The Sabbatical is an original work of theater chronicling the lives of the members of a small church congregation. As the stories of their lives intersect, we see these characters struggle with their place in the world, the pitfalls and assurances that come with faith, and the limits of forgiveness. The Sabbatical uses theatrical simplicity, original music, and dance to explore these themes. It Examines what it means to hold sincere and earnest beliefs while avoiding at all costs the kinds of cynicism, derisiveness, and scorn that characterize much of our public discourse in the United States today.

Drury Lane Theatre continues its 2017-2018 season with the regional premiere of the powerhouse musical tribute to the 1980s, Rock of Ages, with book by Chris D'Arienzo, arrangements and orchestrations by Ethan Popp, directed by Scott Weinstein and choreographed by Stephanie Klemons. Rock of Ages runs now through October 15, 2017 at Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace.
