The Mac Players At The Middletown Arts Center Will Present 'THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES' In July. Tickets are available for performances July 8 - July 10 at The Middletown Arts Center.

The Idaho Shakespeare Festival has announced its tentative 2021 lineup, after cancelled its 2020 edition due to the health crisis.

TheaterWorks completes the 2018-2019 Season with a musical blast from the past. The Marvelous Wonderettes is on stage in the Gyder Theater March 29 through April 14 at the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts.

This smash off-Broadway hit takes you to the 1958 Springfield High School prom where we meet Betty Jean, Cindy Lou, Missy, and Suzy, four girls with hopes and dreams as big as their crinoline skirts! As we learn about their lives and loves, the girls serenade us with classic '50s hits including 'Lollipop,' 'Dream Lover,' 'Stupid Cupid,' and 'Lipstick on Your Collar.'

No doubt most of us have fond memories of our senior year in high school, with our Senior Prom being one of the many highlights of that year. Nostalgia for that year fuels the happy story of four friends in THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES, a 1999 musical comedy with a book by Roger Bean that has gone on to be presented in countless productions all over the world, including the current one being presented at Crown City Theatre in NoHo through February 25, 2018, directed and choreographed to bring back starlight memories by Robert Marra with musical direction by William A. Reilly.
