Five decades after The Band released "Music From Big Pink," The Weight Band is harnessing the solemn fire and fury of that landmark, groundbreaking and epic album with a live show that is timeless. The Weight Band originated in 2013 inside the famed Woodstock, New York barn of Levon Helm. The Weight Band, the re-imagined band of legendary rock group The Band, will perform Sunday, December 9 at 7:30 p.m. at South Orange Performing Arts Center. The Weight Band is dedicated to honoring the legacy of The Band and is comprised of former members and those who have worked closely with The Band over the decades.
