The Moving Memory Project will return in 2023 for an in-person presentation of works by NYC-based dance artists, presented under the title Sense Memory.

The NY Dance and Performance Awards, the Bessies, New York City's premier dance awards honoring outstanding creative work in the field, have announced the 2022 award recipients at the 38th annual Bessie Awards. Dancers for Ukraine is a benefit performance put on by the dance community in NYC to raise awareness and funding for the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.

Gibney has announced Gibney Center’s spring 2022 season curated by Eva Yaa Asantewaa, Senior Director of Curation and Editorial Director. Continuing the theme “Rising Up” from last fall, the season features performances by acclaimed and emerging artists; discussion and lecture series; and works-in-process programs.

On Sunday, May 16th, the furloughed artists of the Met Opera came together for an outdoor performance on the Upper West Side called Open Air Opera: Street Dances.

Dancers of the Met, an independent collective of dancers who have performed with the Metropolitan Opera throughout the seasons, is joining with furloughed members of the Met Orchestra and Met Chorus Artists to produce an outdoor NYC concert on Sunday, May 16.

ODC, the most active center for contemporary dance on the West Coast, has announced its 2018 Theater Season, a program demonstrating the organization's commitment to fostering new performance and to introducing the work of esteemed artists from across the globe to new audiences.

Alison Cook Beatty Dance, joined by guest artists of the New York City dance community, musical ensemble group Tenth Intervention, and composer Dorian Wallace, will perform a 20-minute excerpt of the Second Act of MAHAWAY: Spring Eternal within the Periapsis Open Series. Other collaborative artists on the program presenting work are: Julia Bengtsson with composer Charlotte Mundy, Belinda McGuire Dance Projects, and Barbara Gail Montero with composer Dmitri Tymoczko.

Brooklyn-based LoudHoundMovement (LHM), directed by Brendan Duggan and Mallory Lynn, has accepted invitations to perform in both the inaugural Excognito Dance Festival as well as the long-established APAP showcase in January 2016. In Excognito the company performs its evening-length In The Plague of Dreams (2013) and recent duet From Crown To Sole (2015).

The TOES FOR DANCE 2015 FESTIVAL will present two unique solo performances featuring Belinda McGuire Dance Projects and spoken word artist Callahan Connor (C-Command), December 11-13, 2015 at Aki Studio Theatre at Daniels Spectrum.
