Other credits: High School Musical at the Paper Mill Playhouse, Seussical (Gertrude McFuzz), Bye Bye Birdie (Kim McAfee), The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy), Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Philia), Gypsy (Baby June). Sang The National Anthem at a National Democratic Fundraiser for President Bill Clinton in 2000. Hanks also appeared in the daytime television soap opera Guiding Light in April 2009.

Carol Irvin, who has been a mainstay at Crossville's Cumberland County Playhouse for more than 20 years, is the latest recipient of The First Night Robe,presented on Saturday, November 17, prior to curtain of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Earlier in the same week, Bralyn Stokes received the robe at Rhubarb Theater's Birds in Church, and Michael Holder and Josh Waldrep claimed it at Street Theatre Company's Miss Saigon in Concert.

Roxy Regional Theatre Kicks Off 30th Anniversary Season with 9 TO 5, Starring Bailey Hanks, 9/14

In a musical revue game show opening the 10th Annual Rivers and Spires Festival in Clarksville last Thursday, the Roxy Regional Theatre, Clarksville's oldest live theatre and only professional theatre, unveiled its 30th Anniversary Season. Under the direction of Tom Thayer, executive director, and John McDonald, artistic director, the theatre will kick off the 2012-2013 season with the Dolly Parton musical 9 to 5: The Musical. Starring Bailey Hanks of Broadway's Legally Blonde, it will open tonight, September 14.
