Ashley Spencer

Ashley Marie Spencer’s professional career includes stage and television work beginning in 2007. She was a finalist on Grease: You’re the One that I Want! (2007), finishing as runner-up. That same year, she made her Broadway debut as Amber Von Tussle in Hairspray (2007–2008). She later reprised the role in regional productions at The Muny (2009) and Pittsburgh CLO (2010). In 2008, she starred as Sandy in the Broadway production of Grease (2008–2009).

Her regional theater credits include Éponine in Les Misérables (2009) at Pittsburgh CLO, Niki Harris in Curtains (2010), and Ulla in The Producers (2010), performed at both Pittsburgh CLO and Paper Mill Playhouse. She also appeared as Lina Lamont in Singin’ in the Rain (2014) at Pittsburgh CLO and as Polly Baker in Crazy for You (2017–2018) at Signature Theatre.

On Broadway, Spencer appeared as a Diva in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (2011), following its pre-Broadway engagement in Toronto (2010). She later took over the role of Sherrie in Rock of Ages (2012–2013).
