A downpour from the roof. Sounds crazy, no? On September 18th, cast members from 'Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish' opened with an impromptu chorus of 'Singin' in the Rain' as tarps were spread to catch the raindrops from a leaky skylight. And then, wonder of wonders, the rain stopped (indoors at least), and session leader Maggie Davenport introduced the cast to an enthusiastic Lenox Hill Neighborhood House crowd.

Cast members of current revivals of shows from Broadway's Golden Age performed for former entertainment professionals at the Actors Fund Home in Englewood, New Jersey on Sunday, August 19th.

On June 15, 2018, Sing For Your Seniors hosted the latest in its series of Broadway Sessions with cast members from "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical" at the Edie Windsor SAGE Center in Chelsea as part of Pride Month. SAGE is the country's largest and oldest organization dedicated to improving the lives of LGBT older adults. The musical performance included songs of the performers' choosing as well of songs from "Beautiful." The audience enjoyed a one-hour session, as well as a meet-and-greet visit with the cast following the performance. 

Sing For Your Seniors brought cast members of Broadway hit 'War Paint' to perform for senior members of the LGBT community in SAGE's midtown headquarters on August 10th. They sang numbers from their show and some of their favorite Broadway standards for their enthusiastic audience.

On March 9th, 2017, Sing For Your Seniors (SFYS) hosted the latest in its series of Broadway Sessions with cast members from Cats for the LGBT seniors at SAGE Center Midtown. The musical performance, led by SFYS Session Leader Daniel Torres (Broadway: Beautiful, Evita, The Pirate Queen, The Woman in White, Off-Broadway: Altar Boyz, National Tour: Wicked), included songs of the performers' choosing as well as songs from Cats. On November 23, 2015, Sing For Your Seniors hosted the latest in its series of Broadway Sessions with cast members from BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL for the residents of The Lillian Booth Actors Home of The Actors Fund. The musical performance included songs of the performers' choosing as well of songs from BEAUTIFUL. For tonight's (August 26th) 7:30pm concert at Joe's Pub, Zoe Sarnak will be joined by Whitney Bashor (The Bridges of Madison County), Lilli Cooper (The Threepenny Opera) Laura Dreyfuss (Glee), Meghann Fahy (Next to Normal) Jay Armstrong Johnson (On the Town), Taylor Noble, Lauren Pritchard (Spring Awakening), Kyle Scatliffe (Les Miserables), Kacie Sheik (Hair), Josh Tolle and Gabe Violett.

On Tuesday, June 30, Sing For Your Seniors (SFYS) dedicated at a special performance the new piano it donated to the Encore Community Services Center in the heart of the theater district. The purchase, made as part of SFYS' ongoing Piano Placement Project, was made possible by a grant from Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Created by award winning composer Bobby Cronin, INSPIRED is a benefit concert series for animal rescue organizations across the country, with a rotating line-up of some of today's exciting musical theatre writers in a casual and intimate setting as they sit behind the piano and, unlike traditional concerts of their material, perform songs by other writers that have inspired their work. The series continued on February 23rd at The Laurie Beechman Theatre, and BroadwayWorld brings you photos from the concert below!

Produced, created and hosted by Bobby Cronin, INSPIRED is a benefit concert series for animal rescue organizations across the country that will play every other month, with a rotating line-up of some of today's exciting musical theatre writers in a casual and intimate setting as they sit behind the piano and, unlike traditional concerts of their material, perform songs by other writers that have inspired their work. The INSPIRED series hopes to spread the word about the 2.7 million adoptable animals that are euthanized each year in America. Jessica Kahkoska serves as associate producer.
