Adam LeGrant BIO

Adam LeGrant was born into a theatrical family and raised in New York City.
After taking a degree in music at the University of Southern California, LeGrant relocated to New York where he continued his musical and theatrical training.

"The theater has always been about evolution: the constant rearranging of creative disciplines. I grew up watching this first hand, as my father, the acting teacher and director David LeGrant, and particularly my mother, Barbara Cook, navigated career- journeys that forced them constantly to draw on untapped aspects of themselves and their art"

As an actor and musical theater performer, he has been seen both regionally and in New York in roles as varied as Moonface Martin in Anything Goes, Rooster Hannigan in Annie, Sid in Ah! Wilderness, Greg in A Chorus Line, Bert Barry in 42nd Street and Pincus in William M. Hoffman's Riga at the Circle Rep Lab. He performed his one-man cabaret act Adam LeGrant Sings the Songs of DeSylva, Brown and Henderson to rave reviews, and his stand-up comedy act has been received with uproarious laughter all over New York.

On the big screen, Mr. LeGrant has been seen in such film as Vanilla Sky, starring Tom Cruise, and Luc Besson's The Dancer.
