This will be the first year I can possibly go to the BC/EFA Flea Market. Does it fall at the same time each year in September? Any dates yet?

Bettyboy72, Unless things have changed, it is Sunday, September 27. A while back, I sent an email with the date request and was promptly given the above answer. I figured it would be a week later this year, so not to interfere with the Jewish holidays. I originally had plans to go, but since my June 2015 vist, I have decided to give visiting NYC a year off.
rjm516, I usually try to go right when it opens, as the coolest/best stuff will go fast, and then again at the end when they are trying to get rid of things and will practically give stuff away. You can see a matinee in between.
I haven't been able to spend much time there the past few years, but I was working a booth about five years ago. The first hour or so the crowds had not really built up, so you'll find the biggest selection, but prices are a little more firm at that point. By the end of the day (say within the last hour or so) most booths are looking to unload as much of the leftover items as possible so you can get a lot of great deals, though you won't have the luxury of being as specific with what you get.
