So, I'm at Walmart and they have a $9 MOTOWN THE MUSICAL album. It is a compilation of 14 tracks that are (I believe) included in the show and of the sound that inspired the show. It is produced by Motown Records. Tracklisting on the second picture. Looks like a good compilation.

That's a mighty nice sampler. I have all that stuff and then some...but for someone discovering the Motown sound it's definitely a nice compilation to start off with.

I saw this at a B&N in Houston on Saturday.

It made me wonder if they were testing waters for a possible cast album based on how well this sells???
