The New Broadway Cast Recording of Gypsy will be released on Tuesday August 26th, 2008. The recording session took place at Manhattan's Clinton Recording Studios and BroadwayWorld TV was there to capture all the excitement as the historic event took place.

Bailey Hanks won the MTV competition 'The Search For The New Elle Woods' making her the new successor to Laura Bell Bundy in the role of Elle Woods. On July 23rd, 2008 Bailey took the stage for her Broadway debut, but the day before that huge step she shared a table at Sardi's with BroadwayWorld TV to discuss all the excitement!

Rydell High got a new class couple, Tuesday, July 22, 2008 when Derek Keeling and Ashley Spencer joined the cast in the lead roles of Danny and Sandy. Derek and Ashley were both popular finalists on the NBC talent competition series Grease: You're the One That I Want. Antonio Banderas attended his Blue Seduction for Women launch event held by PUIG USA, July 10th at Cedar Lake Dance Theatre in New York City. The event celebrated the launch of the new fragrance and the partnership between Antonio Banderas Seductive Fragrances for Women and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids. As part of the celebration, select members of the cast of the 2008 Tony Award winning Best Musical, In The Heights, performed with children benefiting from the House of the Roses, Ballet Hispanico School of Dance, R. Evolucion Latina, Steps and Broadway Dance Center.
