West End star Mark Evans, who's currently starring as Sam in the musical GHOST releases his English debut album The Journey Home on June 18th with Sain Records.
'The Journey Home' features lead-off track- 'Unchained Melody' - out May 28th – a beautiful reinterpretation of the song on which he duets with his co-star from the musical Ghost, Siobhan Dillon.

Also present on the album are tracks with guests' including Ysgol Glanaethwy, who performs with Mark on a number of tracks, and fellow West End singer Ashleigh Gray who joins Mark in a duet titled Alive.
Mark said, "In September 2010 I began the mammoth task of deciding what songs to have on my album and I never realised just how difficult this would be. I'm a very indecisive person naturally, and so I decided to make the album very personal and almost autobiographical of the 10 years since I left home."

Mark Evans is a 26 year old actor, singer, dancer, choreographer, West End star and emerging TV talent from Wales. He has played Troy Bolton in High School Musical, Brad Majors in the U.K national tour of the Rocky Horror Show, Curly in the recent U.K national tour of OKLAHOMA! along with Fiyero in the West End smash, Wicked and is currently starring as Sam in GHOST the Musical.
Mark's appeared on Your Country Needs You With Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber in which he reached the final of the compeitition. His newest venture is playing the title role in the Kid's TV program Marcaroni.
He is a regular on Welsh channel S4C and frequently appears as a presenter on whatsoninthetheatre.com and has appeared on Welsh speaking programs such as Dechrau Canu Dechrau Canmol; Wedi 7; the Eisteddfod Annual Concert; the Sian Cothi Show; Noson Lawen; The Big Welsh Talent Concert and many more.
Having travelled the country acting and performing, Mark also gives something back to his community. The West End in Wales scheme is an initiative created by Mark back in August 2006. This inspiring program offers children in North Wales the chance to work alongside Evans and current West End professionals in a week-long musical theatre summer school, getting first-hand advice from someone who emerged from their very town.
