The critically acclaimed new production of Terrence McNally,Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty's Tony Award® winning musical RAGTIME will now play its final performance on Broadway at the Neil Simon Theatre one week later on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. following 28 preview and 65 regular performances.
Before the show closes however, it will be filmed for the Lincoln Center Archives on Friday night, January 8, 2010. The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts houses one of the worlds most extensive combination of circulating, reference, and rare archival collections in its field. These materials are available free of charge, along with a wide range of special programs, including exhibitions, seminars, and performances. An essential resource for everyone with an interest in the arts--whether professional or amateur--the Library is known particularly for its prodigious collections of non-book materials such as historic recordings, videotapes, autograph manuscripts, correspondence, sheet music, stage designs, press clippings, programs, posters and photographs.

Director/Choreographer Marcia Milgrom Dodge's production of RAGTIME debuted at the Kennedy Center's Eisenhower Theater on April 18, 2009 and played a sold out limited engagement through May 17 before transferring to Broadway where it began previews October 23 and officially opened Sunday, November 15, 2009.
