Photo Coverage: McKellen, Lucas and More at Only Make Believe's 11th Anniversary Gala

Hosted by Sir Ian McKellen, last night, November 1, the Only Make Believe Gala featured a number of performances including the casts of Memphis, the Cast of Billy Elliot: The Musical, and others. Also on-hand was Josh Lucas, James Wesley, Brad Oscar, Matthew Settle, Seth Rudetsky, The Glamazons among others. The 2011 Gala Co-Chairs included Gary Cohn, Cheryl & Blair Effron, Dena Hammerstein, Bruce & Martha Karsh, Gary Lynch, Kate Hall, Danielle & Chris Wearing and George Weiss.

This year's Gala honored two outstanding individuals for their commitment and dedication to children and children's causes: Laura Armitage with The James Hammerstein Award for her outstanding dedication to children in need both on a local and global level; and philanthropist and author Cathy Lasry with the Founders' Award for her exceptional commitment to children's causes.

Celebrating their 11th Anniversary, Only Make Believe is the non-profit organization that creates and performs interactive theatre for children in hospitals and care facilities. Only Make Believe is dedicated to the principle that freeing a child's imagination is a valuable part of the healing process.
