Because a woman becomes fascinated with reading the obituaries (mini-biographies) and imagines what the person’s life might have been like, the woman’s family and friends are drawn into sharing their unfulfilled dreams, present hopes and yes, their thoughts about end of life decisions. The play is a celebration of life and the dreams we have for ourselves whether the dream comes true or change as we grow from year to year. The topics are mostly familiar — love, sex, gossip, regrets (or lack thereof). These folks could be your next-door neighbors. And if they were, you’d enjoy them thoroughly.
