Music Theatre Wichita finishes its 44th summer season with an all-new production of HELLO, DOLLY!, running August 5-9 at Century II Concert Hall in Wichita. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast onstage below!
The production stars Kathryn Kendall (42nd Street, Nunsense National Tours) in the title role opposite Bill Nolte (La Cage Aux Folles, The Producers) as Horace Vandergelder. Other featured actors include Kerry Conte (Mary Poppins National Tour) as Irene Molloy and Steve Hitchcock as Cornelius Hackl, with resident company members Patrick Garr as Barnaby, Daisy Wright as Minnie Fay, Trevor McChristian as Ambrose Kemper, and Emily Vargo as Ermengarde.
The production includes beautiful new set designs by Bruce Brockman and colorful costumes by Dixon Reynolds. Others on the artistic team include hair and makeup Designer Taylor Malott, lighting designer Madelynn Nevins, sound designer Robert Hornbostel, millinery designer Megan Reed, and properties master Maria Leon.
The production is directed by Mark Madama, with choreography by Brian J. Marcum (ELF: The Musical, The Boy from Oz, 42nd Street), and musical direction by Thomas W. Douglas.
