The Duke’s Theatre Company returns after two critically acclaimed seasons. Their inaugural tour of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet visited 22 Open-Air venues in the Summer of 2021. The following year, the Duke's returned with A Midsummer Night’s Dream, which reached 38 communities around the UK. Now returning for a third season, Twelfth Night visits 50 venues taking in a host of new and exciting partners including Wilton’s Music Hall, Sudeley Castle and Birmingham Botanical Gardens.
The cast includes Beatrice John as Olivia, William Marr as Sir Andrew Aguecheek & Feste, Noah Marullo as Malvolio, Joanne McGarva as Viola, Ben Simon as Orsino & Sir Toby Belch and Jenni Walker as Maria & Sebastian.
The show is Directed by Martin Parr, the Creative Producer is Bobby Delaney, Graphic Design by Daniel Satchell & Rosie Scares, Media and Production by Laura Matthews, the Set Design Consultant is Piran Jeffcock (with Ben Simon). Wardrobe Supervision is by Blanche Schofield, with Wardrobe provided by Bristol Costume Services.
This original production for Summer 2023 will combine innovative production design, knock-out energy from an industry leading cast and original music so that Shakespeare's songs are heard in a whole new way.
