Members of The Self-Isolation Choir learned and recorded their parts of Mozart's Requiem at home in isolation earlier this year, under the guidance of Ben England BEM. Their recordings were been mixed in the studio to produce an amazing choral sound, and on 31st March 2021, their performance premiered, featuring the amazing Richard Gowers on the organ and solos from the Fieri Consort... but that's not quite the end of the matter! You see, learning the choruses of Mozart's Requiem was a wonderful experience, but not quite enough of a challenge for The Busiest Choir In The World. So we learned and recorded the solos too! Join us to experience Mozart's Requiem like you've never heard it before, with conducting in four parts from Ben England BEM. The FREE concert will take place on the Requiems At Home YouTube channel at 17:00 BST on Friday 14th May 2021 at https://youtu.be/54XMQdZZtJY || Disclaimer: No wigs were harmed in the production of this project, although one did become somewhat dishevelled.
