The Interval is a dry-witted, no filter, solo comedy-drama on the epic battle of mind vs mouth and the struggle to ‘hold it in’. Trapped behind an ice-cream tray and forced to endure increasingly ridiculous demands, The Interval is one person’s struggle to just keep playing along - without going completely off script. If you’ve ever worked with the general public, if you’ve ever had to hold your tongue, in fact if you’re a human being just trying to make it through yet another daily performance, take a quick break and relieve yourselves. 

The Interval is a one-woman show highlighting the stark difference between the person we attempt to present to the outside world and the real person hiding underneath. Written and performed by Rhona Ashwood, The Interval dives into the difference between protecting our reputation and protecting ourselves, and questions whether we can ever truly do both.
