Swedish neo-classical and electronic multi-instrumentalist/composer Peter Sandberg performs new music live in the Elgar Room.

In 2023, Peter Sandberg returns with his fourth album project in as many years – Constellations.

Through Constellations, Peter musically explores three stars and systems: Polaris (released 21 Dec), the North Star, a key tenet of Scandinavian culture and the Northern hemisphere, followed by Orion (19 Jan) and Peter’s ‘own’ constellation, Capricornus (23 Feb). His most experimental and experiential works yet, Peter’s tasteful harmonic and melodic construction is framed and stretched through dimensions of electronic processing, synthesiser layers, his signature soft felt piano and beautiful string arrangements. Organised and blended as continuously mixed orchestral-style movements, Peter pushes classical music forward in time, taking us on our own personal journeys of what the stars above mean to us all.
