Little Man by Deborah Perkin
Just landed in a refuge with his mum, 9-year-old Billy tries to make sense of the world with the help of a Tree Spirit, a Dragon, a Fire Fighter, and a dead Dad. This plea for adults to understand the damage their toxic relationships do to children is based on the writer's experience in women's aid work.
