The Selkie is a lyrical exploration of motherhood, myth and madness, inspired by the wild seas and folktales of Shetland and Orkney. We follow Nina, in this modern retelling of the Medea tragedy, exploring how a mother can, and can’t, shield her children from her own battle with psychosis.
