Interweaving music, movement and medical texts with original poetry and animation, Dry Season is a witty, honest and intimate spoken word theatre show about the menopause and how it effects a persons identity. Non-binary Queer Bristol-based writer and performer Kat was diagnosed with premature menopause aged 39, following 18 months of symptoms including chronic insomnia, depression, and paranoid anxiety. As a switched on feminist they thought they knew all they needed to know about menopause, and discovered they knew next to nothing at all.
