Eli drifts hopelessly through deep space with only Ada, the ship’s Artificial intelligence, for company. In the pair's desperate need for physical companionship, how far will they go when they discover the comatose body of Eli's ex-lover in an escape pod?

As Eli struggles to cling to life, Ada goes to extreme lengths to find what it means to live.

More on the play
Adrift was first produced as a part of East 15's 2023 Debut Festival - a four day theatre festival of new plays produced by third year students on the prestigious Acting and Contemporary Theatre Course. Since then Adrift has won the coveted Stella Wilkie Award (supporting young theatre makers) as well as achieving runner up for The Space Theatre's Launchpad Award.

Now Adrift is coming to The Cockpit for a limited run of two in person performances as a part of Camden Fringe 2023 on the fourteenth and fifteenth of August at 9:00pm.

Hailing from the prestigious Acting and Contemporary Theatre course at East15 they produce gutsy new writing, proudly peering into the fantastical and absurd while keeping their roots in real and relevant issues.
