In recent years we have seen more people begin to get involved with activism through the Black Live Matters Protests and marches and the Sarah Everard vigils and the Reclaim These Streets campaign. Theatre Deli has always looked to support work that diversifies the cultural landscape and that often struggles to find support elsewhere and we are proud to be focussing on developing 6 pieces of arts activism work through ARTivism. In light of the proposed legislation restricting protest in the UK, we believe this performance genre is more important than ever.ARTivism Festival will take place from Saturday 19th Sunday 20th March at TheatreDeli Broadgate, 2 Finsbury Avenue, London, EC2M 2PA.Tickets are Pay What You Feel to keep the festival accessible to all, with suggested donations of 5, 10, 15 and 20.
